Slough Beat Wycombe

A capital attendance witnessed this return League game at Slough on Wednesday. Slough had the same team out that won the Berks and Bucks Cup on Easter Monday, but Wycombe were without A. W. Keen, Russell and Stevens.

Slough had the wind in the first half and pressed continually. From a free kick, taken by Fisher, Reynolds put the leather through his own goal. Poole soon added a second, and then a shot from Wright hit the post and bounded through.

Slough crossing over leading by 3 to 0.

The second half was more even. Smith found the net for Slough, and Pugh for Wycombe and Slough won by four goals to one.
