About Jeff

Left Half/Inside/Outside Left.

Former Slough Schoolboys and Pathfinders midfielder who enjoyed a run in the first team during the second half of season 1963/64 but otherwise featured mainly in the reserves.

Normally a left-half, Jeff joined the club at the start of the season although he did play in two matches at the end of last season - and he has been almost an "ever present" in the Reserves.

As a boy Jeff lived in the Elephant and Castle area of London and played for South London Schoolboys when he was only 13. At that time he was an outside left.

Jeff's family moved to Slough when he was 15 and he became a member of the youth team along with Lovell, Bell and Broadbridge - all of whom also featured in the Reserves.

Was a member of the very successful Bucks N.A.B.C.A C X1, playing left-half for that team. A 90-minute no-nonsense player.
