About Tony

Tony Fontenelle served as Assistant Manager at Slough Town from December 2022 to May 2026, joining the club shortly after Scott Davies’ appointment as First Team Manager. Known throughout the game as “Yella”, he quickly became a popular and influential figure at Arbour Park, playing a key role within the management team.

Fontenelle brought energy, passion and a strong connection with players and supporters alike. His relationship with Davies dated back to their time together at Dunstable Town in 2013, and that understanding translated into a cohesive and committed coaching environment during his time with the Rebels.

Prior to joining Slough, he enjoyed a well-regarded playing career with clubs including Arlesey Town, Hitchin Town and Dunstable Town, where he also stepped into management, before continuing his coaching journey with Barton Rovers. That experience proved invaluable in supporting the development of the squad and contributing to a number of memorable moments during his spell at the club.

He departed the club in May 2026 following Scott Davies' move to Aldershot Town, leaving with the thanks and best wishes of everyone at Slough Town for his contribution and commitment.
