Allaway goes to Uxbridge

Central defender Ricky Allaway who earlier this season joined the Rebels from Didcot Town FC has signed for neighbours Uxbridge.

The defender made 20 appearances for the Rebels and was made vice-captain by former Rebels manager Derek Sweetman within weeks of joining the club.

However, as new manager Steve Bateman begins to bring in players such as Robbie Kean, Shaun Byrne and Steve Sinclair competition will be fierce for places.

Despite the departure of Allaway the Rebels remain well-covered in that area though with Luke Evans, Rory Smith, Dean Harper, Ryan Fenton and Daniel Hicks all recognised centre-backs.

The club wishes Ricky well at his new club
