Martin Returns
Bateman bolsters squad with Adam Martin's return.
With the transfer deadline fast approaching, Rebels manager Steve Bateman has reacted quickly following Slough's disappointing two goal reverse at Sharpenhoe Road on Tuesday night.
The returning face will be a familiar one to both the Rebels boss and the Amber Army with the signature of Adam Martin secured.
Recently released by struggling St Albans City, Martin has made thirty one appearances for the Conference South side this season, netting once against Hampton & Richmond Borough.
Having previously signed for the Rebels on a loan basis at the start of April 2010, Bateman will be hoping for a similar return from the talented midfielder which saw him help the side into the playoff places in dramatic fashion - with one of the goals in the 4-1 win at Romulus, followed by a screamer from distance to open the scoring at Hitchin in the playoff semi-final.
