Slough Town travel to Oxford City this weekend, looking to build on an encouraging performance at Uxbridge last Saturday in which the Rebels were unlucky to lose 2-1.

Oxford City currently lie 7th in the league table, just five points off the top and firmly within the chasing pack after only two league defeats so far this season. After a 4-0 win over Marlow on Tuesday evening, City will start Saturday's game as firm favourites.

The need for the Rebels to start picking up points also became more apparent after Bracknell Town picked up their first victory of the season, 3-2 against Windsor & Eton. Slough currently sit fourth from bottom, having played more games than most of their rivals.

There is better news for Slough in terms of injuries, with Darron Wilkinson hoping to welcome back a number of players after a good training session on Tuesday. There are minor doubts surrounding Nick Roddis, Stanley Mugisha and Enrico Grimm, but Wilkinson should have a fairly full squad to choose from, with Lee Riddell also expected to make his first appearance since rejoining the club from Farnborough. George Moleski, Lee Charles and Danny Jeffreys are still on the injured list but Landy Salaka is nearing full fitness.

The two clubs last met in September 2005 at Stag Meadow, when Slough defeated Oxford City by 4-1 in an FA Cup tie. City's scorer that day was Ray Spence, who scored against the Rebels last month for Farnborough.

There is a supporters coach to Oxford City, departing Wexham Park Stadium at 1pm. Prices are as follows: Adults £10, Seniors & Juniors £8, Accompanied juniors £5.
