Following an indifferent start to the season and the loss of key defender Richard Pierson, Rebels manager Derek Sweetman has moved to add numbers to his squad in time for the weekends clash with Abingdon United.

Luke Evans, Adam Durrant and Byron Bubb have all signed on with the squad and will all be in contention to start tomorrow as the Rebels look to start a cup run at Abingdon United's Northcourt Road ground.

Evans (pictured right), will be a direct replacement for the departed Pierson who left the Rebels to join Brackley. Evans was a prominent feature in the title winning Farnborough side last season having made 39 appearances since joining in September.

Durrant signs from neighbours Burnham having had previous playing experience with Oxford City and many seasons with Maidenhead United. Durrant is an accomplished right full back who was player of the season whilst at Oxford City.

The third face to return to Slough will be no stranger to Rebels fans. Coming back for his second spell with the club, Bubb has enjoyed appearances at AFC Wimbledon, Burnham and Farnborough since last playing for Slough. Bubb scored for the Blues at the Gore last season as part of a 3-1 win for Burnham. He has also represented Grenada ten times, scoring four goals in the process. Bubb will be able to play on either flank or in behind the strikers and will add a dangerous option to the attack for Slough.
