Rebels add two to squad
Rebels add two defenders ahead of Truro clash.
Slough Town have today secured the signings of experienced Southern League defender Ricky Allaway from Didcot and have also secured the services of Rory Smith from Leyton.
Allaway is a commanding centre back who experienced play off promotion with Oxford City last season and had previously spent a few years with fellow Southern League side, and recent conquerors of the Rebels in the FA Trophy, Thatcham Town.
Smith joins the club from Leyton having spent a few successful seasons with Edgware Town in recent years. Another defender, Smith will add more steel to the back line which has seen the Rebels ship eleven goals in their last two outings.
Both players will go straight into the squad for the difficult test as Truro City face the Rebels on Saturday at Holloways Park.
