George Vorster

Bio

George Vorster joined Slough Town ahead of the 2026/27 season after progressing through the academy system at Sutton United.

An exciting young forward, Vorster gained valuable senior experience during loan spells with Ashford Town (Middlesex) and Burgess Hill Town before making his breakthrough into Sutton United’s first-team squad.

During the 2024/25 campaign, Vorster impressed at Ashford Town, scoring nine goals in 26 appearances and winning the club’s Young Player of the Season award.

He followed that up with an outstanding 2025/26 season at Burgess Hill Town, scoring 17 goals and registering 13 assists in 40 appearances and collecting the club’s Players’ Player of the Year, Supporters’ Player of the Year and Young Player of the Year awards.

His performances also earned him opportunities with Sutton United’s senior side, making his competitive debut in the Surrey Senior Cup before featuring in the National League and being included in the squad for an Emirates FA Cup tie against Shrewsbury Town.

Vorster is a quick, direct and hard-working attacker capable of playing across the frontline, and joins the Rebels as one of the brightest young attacking talents outside the Football League.
