Slough forwards were in scoring form on Monday when they slammed five goals into the Chesham United net in a Premier Midweek Floodlight League match at the Stadium.
The Rebels, without Tony Amos, Terry Reardon and Ray Eaton, were a couple of goals up at the interval and from start to finish dominated a slow Chesham side.
After 12 minutes newcomer John Ritchie set the ball up for Peter Cruse, who opened the Slough score. Just on half-time, Reid crossed the ball for Micky O'Sullivan to run it into the net. Chesham scored their goal soon after the interval but O'Sullivan quickly made it 3-1 for Slough.
Both sides brought on subs, Stewart Jamieson coming on for D'Arcy for Slough. In the 76th minute Ritchie collected a ball from Mead and, racing on, dribbled round goalkeeper Weils for Town's fourth goal. Slough's fifth goal was from the penalty spot with Roger Day scoring after a United defender had handled on the goal-line.
There were two bookings. Brookes, of Chesham, for a foul on Yerby, and Mead, of Slough, for handling during a Chesham attack. The gate was 700 and during the interval members of the Slough Gymnastic Club gave a display which was warmly applauded.
