About Guy

Guy Hollis originally joined the Rebels in June 2013 from Godalming Town following the arrival of joint managers Neil Baker and Jon Underwood.

Now 33, Guy is a robust centre-back with a long throw as a weapon. He started his career for Ashford Town (Middx.) at the age of 17 in the Isthmian League, Premier Division. Guy spent several seasons at Ashford Town (Middx.) and then moved on to Carshalton Athletic before joining Godalming, where he was the 'G's Player of the Season for 2011/12.

In his first season at the club he won promotion from Step 4 to Step 3 as part of the team which was victorious at Kettering Town in the Southern League, Division One Central playoff final. He had an exceptional 2015/2016 season, scooping all the player of the year awards, and played nine seasons under the management of Neil Baker and Jon Underwood. On his 200th appearance for the Rebels, Guy was a big part of the side which defeated King's Lynn Town at The Walks to win promotion to National League South.

Guy left the club for Havant & Waterlooville in January 2022, but rejoined later that summer for the 2022/23 campaign. After Scott Davies took over as manager, he departed for a second time in December 2022 and had spells with Bracknell Town and Farnham Town, and most recently made 32 appearances for Farnborough across the last two seasons before rejoining in January 2025.
