Bateman moves to strengthen attack

Manager Steve Bateman has moved to strengthen his striking options by signing Boreham Wood striker Sean Sonner on loan.

Former England Under 18 Schoolboy international Sean was signed by Boreham Wood in November 2008 from Northwood after scoring 17 goals in 24 appearances. Elsewhere he has previously played for Harefield United and Sun Postal Sports, during which time he had trials at Crystal Palace.

Sean has initially joined on loan for a month with the possibility of an extension and will be available for selection from Saturdays game against Bedworth United.
