Slough Town make the long journey to Cornwall on Tuesday evening to face a Truro City side sitting third in the Enterprise National League South.

The Rebels will be looking to respond after Saturday's 3-1 home defeat against Dorking Wanderers, while Truro arrive in confident mood after an entertaining 4-3 victory away at Hampton & Richmond Borough.

The opposition

Truro have made an excellent start to life back in the National League South and currently sit third with 24 points from their opening 12 matches, having won seven, drawn three and lost two.

They have scored 21 goals and conceded 11, and have won three of their last five league matches.

Their most recent outing produced seven goals at Beveree Stadium, where Truro came from behind to beat Hampton & Richmond Borough 4-3.

Their recent league results also include victories at Braintree Town and Maidstone United, a draw at Farnham Town and a home defeat to Salisbury.

Slough's recent form has been more difficult, with Saturday's defeat to Dorking following losses against Horsham and Torquay United. The Rebels did, however, pick up a point against promotion-chasing Ebbsfleet United at Arbour Park in late September.

Tuesday's match will be Steve McKimm's second game in charge of the Rebels following his appointment as the club's new Men's First Team Manager last week.

McKimm's first match ended in a 3-1 defeat against Dorking at Arbour Park on Saturday, with Ruben Shakpoke giving Slough an early lead before the visitors scored three times after half-time.

The new management team will now look to secure a positive result on their first away assignment.

The last meeting

The two sides last met at the Truro City Stadium in February 2025, when the hosts recorded a 2-0 victory.

The previous meeting at Arbour Park earlier that season ended 1-1, while the corresponding fixture in 2023/24 saw Truro win 3-2 at Gloucester City’s Meadow Park.

Travelling to the Truro City Stadium

The Truro City Stadium is at West Langarth, Threemilestone, Truro, with the postcode TR4 9AN.

From the A30, supporters should take the A390 at Chiverton Cross and follow signs for the Langarth Park & Ride site.

Free parking is available at Langarth Park & Ride, which has space for around 1,250 cars. The car park remains available for evening matches when the Park & Ride service itself is not operating, although overnight parking is not permitted.

The stadium is next to the Park & Ride site, while Truro railway station is approximately 2.7 miles away. Buses connect the station with Threemilestone, the nearest stop to the stadium.

Entry information

Turnstiles open at 6pm for midweek National League South fixtures.

If the fixture is segregated, away supporters will use Turnstiles Five and Six and will initially be allocated half of the Western Stand, with the possibility of the whole end being opened depending on demand.

The away section is standing, although Block A of the Eden Hot Tubs North Stand can be made available for supporters unable to stand for 90 minutes.

The stadium accepts both cash and card payments.

Supporters should note that bags larger than A4 size are generally not permitted, and all bags are subject to search for away supporters.

Head-to-head

Truro have won the last two meetings at home, while Slough's most recent victory over the Tinners came at Arbour Park in November 2023, when the Rebels won 4-0.

Tuesday's fixture presents a difficult challenge against one of the division's early pace-setters, but the Rebels will be hoping for a strong response as the new management team begins its work.

Safe travels to all Rebels making the long journey to Cornwall!
