Dennon Lewis signs for Slough Town

Slough Town are delighted to announce the signing of 29-year-old winger Dennon Lewis on a permanent deal from Dorking Wanderers for an undisclosed transfer fee, with Dennon signing a contract until the end of the 2027/28 season.

Lewis brings extensive experience of the non-league game to the Rebels, having made more than 200 appearances at National League and National League South level.

He began his career in the Watford academy in 2008, progressing through the club’s ranks to sign his first professional contract in 2015. He gained his first senior experience on loan with Woking, making 27 league appearances and scoring four goals during the 2016/17 season, before also spending time with Crawley Town and Scottish Championship side Falkirk. He subsequently joined Bromley in 2019.

Lewis made his biggest impact to that point during a two-year spell with Wealdstone, scoring 17 goals in 86 league appearances and helping the Stones to promotion from the National League South in 2019/20. He added five goals in 40 National League appearances during the following campaign before moving to Boreham Wood in November 2021.

The winger spent two seasons with Boreham Wood, making 64 league appearances and scoring five goals, before returning to Woking in 2023. He made 55 appearances and scored six goals in all competitions during his second spell with the Cardinals.

Lewis joined Dorking Wanderers in the summer of 2025 and made a strong impression in his first season at Meadowbank, scoring eight goals and providing seven assists in 52 appearances in all competitions. He also won two Player of the Month awards and was named Dorking Wanderers’ Manager’s Player of the Season.

He has made a further 14 appearances for Dorking this season, scoring once, before making the move to Arbour Park.

Lewis adds further attacking quality, directness and valuable National League experience to the Rebels’ squad as Slough look to strengthen their options in the final third.

Dennon will not be involved in Saturday’s match between the two clubs, but will be available for selection at Truro City on Tuesday evening.

Everyone at Slough Town would like to welcome Dennon to the club.
