Slough Town are delighted to announce the return of 29-year-old midfielder Munashe Sundire, who joins the Rebels on a permanent deal following his release from Torquay United.

The Zimbabwean originally joined Slough in June 2023 following his departure from St Albans City, making 32 appearances during his first spell at Arbour Park.

A versatile and energetic player, Sundire can operate in central midfield or at full-back. Before his first spell with the Rebels, he also represented Hemel Hempstead Town, Kettering Town and King’s Lynn Town, where he made 33 appearances in the National League.

Sundire left Slough in February 2024 to join Tamworth, who were top of the National League North at the time. He went on to make 43 appearances during his spell with the Lambs, helping them win the National League North title and secure promotion to the National League.

He remained with Tamworth for the 2024/25 season, helping them to a top-half finish in the National League. He also featured in their memorable FA Cup Third Round tie against Tottenham Hotspur in January 2025, playing most of the second half and all of extra time as Tamworth eventually lost 3-0 after holding the Premier League side to a goalless draw after 90 minutes.

Sundire joined Torquay United in May 2025 and now returns to the Rebels with further National League experience, as well as the ability to provide options in both midfield and defence.

Speaking after completing his return to Slough, Sundire said:

“Super delighted to be a Rebel again! A club that holds a special place in my heart, buzzing to be a part of the club’s exciting new chapter!”

The signing is subject to the standard FA and National League clearances.

Everyone at Slough Town would like to welcome Munashe back to the club.
