Godlove Oppong

Bio

Godlove Oppong joined Slough Town ahead of the 2026/27 season following an outstanding goalscoring campaign with Leighton Town.

A quick, powerful and clinical striker, Oppong established himself as one of the Southern League Central Division’s most dangerous forwards during the 2025/26 season.

He scored 30 league goals in 39 appearances as Leighton Town secured the league title with 100 points and promotion to Step 3, ending the campaign with 32 goals in 49 matches across all competitions.

Oppong spent three seasons with Tring Athletic earlier in his career, scoring 27 goals in 76 appearances before earning moves to Northwood and Biggleswade Town.

After injury setbacks disrupted part of his progress, he rediscovered his best form following his move to Leighton Town in November 2024.

Across two seasons with Leighton, Oppong scored 42 goals in 73 appearances and established a reputation as a dangerous and hard-working attacking player.

He joined the Rebels in summer 2026 as Slough Town strengthened their attacking options ahead of the new season.
