Erion Zabeli

Bio

Slough Town confirmed the signing of centre-back Erion Zabeli in February 2026.

The 21-year-old defender arrived with an impressive development background, having progressed through academies including Watford and Oxford United, before earning a move to Brentford B following a successful trial period.

A commanding presence at 6’3”, Zabeli is a composed, ball-playing centre-half who combines physical strength with comfort in possession. During his time at Oxford United, he featured in the club’s FA Youth Cup run to the quarter-finals, underlining his pedigree at academy level, before gaining further experience within Brentford’s highly regarded B team set-up.

Born in London, Zabeli has represented Albania at various youth levels, bringing valuable international experience to Arbour Park despite his young age.

Most recently playing senior football with Manchester 62 in Gibraltar, Erion made the move to SL2 as Scott Davies strengthened his defensive options for the run-in.
