Jaiden Drakes-Thomas joined Slough Town in May 2025.A dynamic and attack-minded midfielder, Drakes-Thomas came through the academy system at Colchester United, representing both the Under-18 and Under-21 sides before moving into senior football.
He made 22 appearances for Sevenoaks Town during the 2023/24 season before joining Dover Athletic in March 2024. After starting the 2024/25 campaign with the Whites, scoring once in two appearances, he moved to Wingate & Finchley in the Isthmian League Premier Division.
Drakes-Thomas signed for Slough Town ahead of the 2025/26 season and quickly established himself as an important member of Scott Davies’ side.
He made 53 appearances in his debut campaign and scored nine goals, finishing as the club’s leading goalscorer and claiming the Golden Boot award.
His goals included decisive winners away at Hornchurch and Maidstone United, as well as the dramatic stoppage-time strike against Enfield Town that completed a memorable comeback and secured the Rebels’ place in the First Round Proper of the Emirates FA Cup.
Still only 21, Drakes-Thomas remains one of the club’s brightest young talents and continues with the Rebels under Alan Julian for the 2026/27 season.
